Ductal® is an innovative technology which covers a family of ultra-high performance concretes with exceptional characteristics in terms of mechanical resistance (compressive strengths up to 200 MPa, flexural tensile strength beyond 40 MPa), durability, abrasion resistance, and resistance against chemical and environmental attack (freeze and thaw, salt water, etc.).

The two companies Lafarge and Bouygues have jointly developed these innovative ultra-high performance concretes and have protected them with a family of patents. Ductal® is a registered trade mark. The commercialisation is provided through existing licenses for the fabrication and use of Ductal® in the territories of North America, Japan, Australia and Western Europe.
