Ductal® Archistructure & Envelope Solution

imgductal1.png

Tackle both structural and aesthetic challenges with this high-performance, self-compacting technology — combining exceptional mechanical capabilities with limitless design possibilities.

For over 25 years, Ductal® has been combining the efficiency of steel with the versatility of concrete to help you bring your boldest ideas to life.

Meet your project’s specific structural needs, or push the envelope on how thin you can: don’t let the limitations of engineering get in the way of your boldest architectural inspiration.

Bring your ideas to life with high performance facade, roofing and envelope systems. Like main or secondary skins, they bend and adapt to the most complex shapes and aesthetic requirements while providing energy-effective, durable and high-impact resistance (5 times longer life cycle than traditional concrete).

HYLO Tower - London

Using brick-faced UHPC precast panels on this renovation and extension project led tosignificanlty reduce the weightand the carbon footprint of the facade.

2023 PCI Design award, by Horden Cherry Lee Architects.

Central Bank of Iraq

This unique and iconic tower designed by Zaha Hadid Architects is one of the largest UHPC projects in the world. Ductal® Archistructure solution offers an aesthetic and durable structure with a height of 170 meters. Moreover, the Blast+ technology enables the panels to strongly shield the building.

Yuhang Opera House

Yuhang Opera House is a 70000M2 performance venue. Structures are clad in a graphic façade pattern that references ice cracking on the frozen lake. Ductal® Envelope solution was casted into triangle shape panel, with smooth finishing. Designed by Henning Larsen.

King Abdullah Financial District Metro Station in Saudi Arabia

Designed by Pritzker prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid, the KAFD Metro Station is composed of 6500 Ductal ® façade panels to reduce solar gain while its geometric perforations contextualize the station within its cultural environment.

The overall composition resembles patterns generated by desert winds in sand dunes, where multiple frequencies and repetition generate complex natural formations.
