The Navy Yard’s mission is to bring an Innovation Hub to Brooklyn and engage the community through education employment and community involvement. One of their programs is the Brooklyn Navy Yard Internship Program, offered to Brooklyn college students during the summer of 2018. Ductal® participated in the program by taking on two engineering students: Leo Ramos and Denise Ching.

Leo and Denise were instrumental in putting the Ductal® Workshop together - not only assisting with careful coordination and design of many elements for the Workshop but with numerous deliveries and procurement of various items needed for completion of the space. Additionally, we spent many weeks working together on technical items related to Ductal® as well as calculations and other detailing items needed for specific projects that we were/are developing.
