Rocheteau-Saillard Architectes built, for its own firm, an extension to a villa in La Baule, Loire-Atlantique, France. The envelope for this new building is a latticework made from white Ductal® with organic fibres. The almost identical perforated panels are 4.37 m x 2.45 m x 7 cm thick and cover nearly 130 m². They give the villa a woodland pattern, and pine trees surround the villa itself. The panels also function as a balustrade for the second-floor balcony and the rooftop terrace. A few unique panels were cast for complete adaptation to the house's geometry.
